Child Education

Priya's Journey: From Child Labor to School Topper

Priya was working in a brick kiln at age 8 when our field workers found her. Today, she’s a school topper aspiring to become a teacher.

Before

Priya was one of three siblings working in a brick kiln in a remote village. With no access to school, her future seemed predetermined by poverty.

Intervention

Our Shiksha Jyoti team enrolled Priya in our learning center, provided free books, meals, and a scholarship. A dedicated mentor supported her transition.

After

Within two years, Priya not only caught up with her age group but topped her class. She now dreams of becoming a teacher and returning to serve her village.

Ripple Effect

Her story inspired 12 more families in the village to send their children to school.
Women Empowerment

Rekha Devi: Leading a Women's Self-Help Revolution

From a homebound woman with no income to the leader of a 15-member self-help group earning independently.

Before

Rekha Devi had no personal income, no voice in family decisions, and had never stepped out of her village alone. Financial dependence was absolute.

Intervention

She joined our Shakti Self-Help Group, received tailoring training, and participated in financial literacy workshops. Within months, she started a small stitching business.

After

Today Rekha leads a 15-member SHG, manages a joint savings account, and has trained 20 more women. Her monthly income now supports her children's education.

Ripple Effect

Her SHG has collectively saved ₹2.5 lakhs and disbursed micro-loans to 8 women for small businesses.
Community Development

Clean Water for Rampur: A Village Transformed

Rampur village went from a 2km daily water walk to having clean, accessible water within the village.

Before

Families in Rampur walked 2km daily for water from a contaminated source. Waterborne diseases were common, especially among children.

Intervention

We installed a community bore well with a solar-powered pump, built a filtration system, and trained village youth in its maintenance.

After

Over 300 families now have access to clean water. Waterborne diseases have dropped by 70%. Women freed from water-fetching now attend skill training programs.

Ripple Effect

The model has been replicated in 5 neighboring villages through community-led initiatives.

Women Rescue Operations

Exposed exploitation networks and supported survivors through recovery.

Justice for Abuse Survivors

Mobile health clinics, preventive care workshops, and sanitation infrastructure development in underserved communities.

Child Labor Rescue

Freed a 12-year-old boy from forced labor and reintegrated him into education.

Human Trafficking Prevention

Rescued 12 girls from international trafficking and ensured safe rehabilitation.
